Magic Factory

Auckland's Magic Factory play late 60s / early 70s country rock n roll and feature members of many local bands. Together for just over a year, their debut album Working With Gold is an unashamed mix of familiar sounds and influences, including Credence Clearwater Revival, ZZ Top and Dr. Hook. They've just returned from a short tour of the USA, where they made friends, ate the world's best fried chicken and were schooled by awesome bands in amazing places including Nashville, Austin, Tuscaloosa Alabama and Memphis as part of Gonerfest #14.

The Rolling Stones spent six months tracking Exile on Main Street in the South of France, Magic Factory spent one sweaty afternoon attempting to do the same thing in a living room in Glenfield. Working with Gold is out on 1:12 Records. Let Magic Factory take you on a sweet, sweet ride..
